Even more Bricks

This week we finished the North West corner!
Here's the LAST brick being placed!
Soon we will be starting the woodwork. You cant exactly go to "Home Depot" & order up a load of lumber here. Its a little more of a Do-It-Yourself program as you can see in the video below!
AND--- no one got hurt!



Here is a picture of the Rebar that goes inside the "Crown".
Were starting the "Framing" of the Crown on Monday.
Hopefully, well be pouring by Wednesday.

Bricks, Bricks, Bricks....

The brickwork has begun.
What has been started will soon be the bathrooms.
Along with the Master Bedroom.The entire south-east corner now complete.
Next week the north-west corner.

The Pour

We had a mixer delivered,unfortunately our generator
didn't quite have enough guts to power it so we sent it back.

I gotta say, my crew is incredible! They mixed and poured the
entire foundation BY HAND with shovels and wheelbarrows!


And thats the way its done "Rag A Muffin Style"!!
Completed foundation, walls start on Monday.

The foundation is almost ready for the pour,we've been trying for 2 days now to get a mixer going but we SHOULD be pouring tomorrow!
