The floor pour

First they drive little posts in the ground and level them with a string.
The string is then removed and the reinforcement
mat is installed and tied together.
After that little berms are made the height of the little wooden posts.
Then finally one by one the wheelbarrow loads of cement are leveled
off to the height of the berms until the entire floor is completed.

Rain,Rain,Rain

Rumor has it it rained 12 inches in 18 hours on Tuesday,
which washed out a little of the access road to the development,
nevertheless the work on the house progressed rather nicely,
electrical boxes were cut in, cuts made in the walls, trenches dug
and holes were made thru the walls
for the plumbing I will be starting to install on Monday.
Much thanks being due to the crew for fixing the road so quickly!
