After making our first trip to Costa Rica the decisions became crystal clear for us. We were going to do everything in our power to be part of the “new exploration” we saw happening on the Caribbean side of the country. This was a chance to get in on the ground floor and make an impact on the direction the construction would take. This was an opportunity to be a part of a little slice of heaven or should I say Los Cielos (translated “The Heavens”).
I will never forget our first visit to the project. I couldn’t help but notice the incredibly beautiful jungle landscape. There were large umbrella like trees, papayas, plantains, hibiscus, bougainvilleas and numerous other plants that were growing throughout the grounds. Each lot gave way to it’s own unique view. The one you see in the above photos we chose for several reasons. It is situated several lots inside the main gate, has an awesome view of the surrounding mountains and is within walking distance to the beach. While these photos were being taken we could feel the breeze from the ocean and hear the soft crashing of the waves off in the distance.
This is the first phase of building within the project. The plans for this house “Caribbean Breeze” took hours of combined effort to create. At 1,700 square feet it is the largest home in the first phase thus far. This house is currently being built out as 2 bedroom, 2 bath with an enclosed office and an open second story loft that can be enclosed to form 2 additional bedrooms or left open to be used as the new owner desires. The openness of the design allows for a multitude of options during the construction phase should it be sold prior to completion. We will continue to post photos while the construction is in process.
